Skills On Show a Success in 2012!
The success of the 2011 event allowed Skills On Show to continue and in fact grow in the second year.
Skills On Show is a large interactive visual display and event on show during the three days of the 2012 NAB Newcastle Regional Show (16 - 18.3.12).
The 2012 event was larger in size, showcased new and exciting exhibits and offered opportunities to engage directly with Hunter manufacturers.
Hunter Valley Training Company returned as the major sponsor for the second year and Skills On Show are proud to have them on board. The NSW Minerals Council and Industry and Investment also committed their ongoing support in 2012.
At the event young people participated in entertaining, dynamic and informative ‘hands on’ workshops, awakening a desire to find a fulfilling career path within the Hunter. The event afforded the opportunity to highlight the trades and skills which are needed for future growth in our region to a wide stakeholder platform.
